UC Health Surgical Hospital provides a unique approach to surgery. The hospital is dedicated to surgery, and nothing else. Our staff realizes that you’ve got better things to do, and respects the interruption that a surgical procedure may bring to your life, as well as to your loved ones’ lives. It is our goal to make this experience as simple and comfortable as possible.

We’ve taken added measure to ensure your convenience, comfort and privacy. For one thing, you can pull your car right up to the door, and park just beyond. No multi-level parking garages to maneuver. Then, walk in, register, and you and your loved ones will be taken to a room where you’ll be prepped and made comfortable until surgery. After your procedure, you’ll recover in a similar room. Should you require admission, you’ll be taken to your private suite prior to surgery and your loved ones may remain there until your return.

Both inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed at the 8-bed hospital, which includes 4 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms. If overnight admission is required, patients can stay as briefly as one night to as long as three nights, depending on the type of surgery and expected recovery time.
